The Bike Kitchen is a thriving bike community located in the basement bicycle parking garage at the University of Amsterdam. The space offers students and staff a place to learn about bike maintenance and repair, all under the watchful eye of experienced professionals, but also about environmental stewardship, circularity, and responsible consumption. The Urban Cycling Institute is a co-founder of the Bike Kitchen, developing a research agenda, event fora, and knowledge valorization.
