As a part of EU Mobility Week, the City of Pula held a 2-day conference on the shift towards increasing micromobility and cycling. Leading up to the conference, the Urban Cycling Institute conducted a ‘Transition Readiness’ analysis with interviews and collaborative dialogue with 30 local stakeholders. During the conference, we led a multi-stakeholder visioning workshop which also fed into the final report where we explored conditions and mechanisms to increase cycling participation, to understand current capacity and to propose recommendations relative to “best practice.” The events generated local media as well, here and here and here.
