The Urban Cycling Institute’s 2024 Scholarship Program offers needs-based financial assistance for academics, activists, artists, and others to participate in conferences, trainings, workshops, etc. The 2024 budget available is €12,500 and we are working to grow this fund in order to support as many recipients as possible.

Recognizing the importance of diverse perspectives and experiences in the discourse of urban mobility and cycling, priority will be given to applicants from the Global South as well as underrepresented communities, including but not limited to BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color), LGBTQ+, persons with disabilities, and others who have historically been marginalized.
