As a non-profit dedicated to education, our learning programs represent a top priority for our impact. To learn with the Urban Cycling Institute is to rethink, reimagine, and reflect on not only the topics at hand but also on the process of learning itself.
Our philosophy of teaching and facilitation is rooted in experiential and inquiry-based learning, using the urban environment as a fundamental arena for experiencing, applying, and reflecting. We use techniques that cultivate group dialogue, empowerment, and autonomy. The workshops and training programs we design and facilitate are highly interactive and can be tailored to fit groups of students, professionals, or government officials
