What is it about?
This volume is actually not a standalone book, but rather the exhibition catalogue from an exhibition with the same title at the Deutsches Architekturmuseum (DAM). As might be expected from an architectural catalogue, it mostly contains examples of various flashy or iconic projects related to bicycle-centric urban design or planning solutions, such as the Hovenring in Eindhoven or the Cykelslangen bridge in Copenhagen. The book offers an inspiring visual guide for more bold or creative projects which can help to visibilise cycling, but ultimately contains little of interest for those interested in the more basic, everyday elements of cycling planning.
